The Agilent 7693A automatic liquid sampler provides fast, precise injections for Agilent GC and GC/MS systems. Even better, its modular design allows the autosampler to grow with your lab. For example, you could start with a tower and 16 vials, then expand to a 150-vial tray. Or, upgrade to a heater/mixer/barcode reader module. You can even add a second tower for dual-simultaneous injections.
Are you running a simple GC application that does not require extensive data processing or compliance support? Agilent DA Express for the Agilent 8860 GC simplifies data analysis and makes it easy to integrate signal data, build calibration curves, and create reports. In addition, you can view methods, sequencing, and DA Express directly on the 8860 GC browser interface.
Built around Agilent 5th-generation electronic pneumatic control (EPC), this module bridges two EPC channels to deliver a single carrier gas flow to your GC. So you can use helium for your GC runs, and switch to an alternate gas (such as nitrogen) when your GC is idle. A third EPC channel serves as a purged vent to prevent cross-contamination of gases. In addition, the module is fully programmable using the sleep/wake functions of OpenLab CDS.
How can you meet your analytical needs today—and tomorrow?
It doesn’t matter whether your lab is large or small, contract or in-house. Success depends on the timeliness and accuracy of the data generated by your instruments and staff. In fact, 85% of pharma customers surveyed said that they need instruments with greater sophistication and specificity to move medicines through the pipeline more quickly.
That’s why, at Agilent, we innovate with purpose. And every step of the way, your goals become our goals: improving user experience, laboratory operation, and business success.
Built into Agilent 8890, 8860, and Intuvo 9000 GC systems, intelligent self-aware features enable remote connectivity. Autonomous routines help avoid common GC problems before they affect system performance. And self-guided maintenance procedures offer step-by-step instructions.
Agilent smart GC instruments feature core microchannel-based electronic pneumatic control (EPC) architecture. Unique to Agilent, this design protects against gas contaminants—such as particulates, water, and oils—improving reliability and longevity.
Gain the benefits of reduced downtime and sustained instrument performance. Agilent CrossLab Smart Alerts software easily installs on any PC in your lab. No Internet connection is required. The software monitors instrument use and provides email-based alerts, notifying you when to replace key consumables and when to perform preventive maintenance.
The Agilent Gas Clean filter system delivers high-purity gases to your analytical instruments, reducing the risk of column damage, sensitivity loss, and instrument downtime. Its sensor reads the color indicator and alerts you when the filter needs to be replaced.
Streamline your lab operations with a single, secure data system that combines chromatography and mass spectrometry into one software platform. Control your Agilent GC, LC, single quadrupole GC/MS, and LC/MS systems—as well as other vendors’ instruments—and save time managing software and training staff.
New tools in OpenLab CDS provide time-saving steps in your analysis, interpretation, and reporting workflows, so you can identify key information and improve turnaround time. Optional built-in technical controls provide peace of mind for labs that need the highest level of data integrity.
Our CFT low thermal mass devices are oven mountable, inert, and make use of flexible metal ferrules to ensure leak-free connections. They allow GC and GC/MS operators to make reliable, leak-free, capillary connections that increase the type of analyses the GC system can perform.
Direct connectivity through the browser interface allows users to access an instrument—and its key features—from virtually anywhere.
RTL provides the ability to keep the same retention time even after column maintenance, column trimming. RTL also allows Agilent GC or GC/MSD systems running the same method and nominal column to have the same compound retention times, in the same lab or from lab to lab.
It feels great, because you spend less time troubleshooting problems and more time delivering results. It also means that you can plan—and stick to—your budgets—and keep your team highly satisfied with their work. No wonder 65% of lab leaders welcome innovations to increase lab efficiency.
However, you must carefully balance the need for speed and efficiency with the demand for unwavering quality. Agilent smart GCs give you reliable results on location, so you can spend more time on what matters, where it matters.
Multiple options are available to accelerate your analyses. For example, adding pillow to the Agilent 8890 GC improves standard oven ramp rates. If you need greater speed, Agilent Intuvo with direct column heating enables oven ramp rates up to 250 °C/min. The fastest heating rates can be achieved with LTM II (low thermal mass) technology for the 8890 GC, which allows a 1,200 °C/min heating rate.
Many labs are switching to alternate carrier gases. For example, nitrogen is an inexpensive option when the separation chemistry achieves sufficient resolution. Hydrogen, too, has excellent chromatographic qualities and can increase throughput. The Agilent hydrogen sensor detects leaks early, and puts your system into standby mode, if necessary.
A GC method translator is built into the method setup window for all Agilent Chromatography Data Systems within the GC SW Driver. It is also available in the browser interface for Agilent 8860 and 8890 GCs, and as a free download from Agilent.
