A completely re-imagined flow path eliminates ferrules and reduces leaks from bad connections, minimizing unplanned downtime that can cost your lab time and money. Coupling two planar face seals with a torque driver ensures the exact tightness for a leak-free seal. The click of the torque driver is an audible and tactile indicator of a good connection. Unique Intuvo connections, along with specially designed flow chips, enable simple setup of backflush and splitting configurations that allow you to quickly expand your application capabilities.
The Intuvo Guard Chip consumable saves time by eliminating the need for column trimming. The power of a guard column is harnessed in a metal microfluidic chip that traps sample residue with almost one meter of inert flow path between the inlet liner and the column. With regular replacement, contamination never reaches the GC column, extending its life. Changing the Guard Chip takes about five minutes versus up to 30 minutes or more for a conventional GC column, which requires trimming, re-installing, and possibly retention time recalibration.
