An HPLC-MS method was presented to quantify major components as well as degradation products of lithium-ion battery electrolytes. Using an InfinityLab Poroshell EC-18 column (p/n 650750-902T) for superior resolution and peak shape, separation of all analytes was achieved within 14 minutes.
An analytical method for the detection of 20 PFAS in human hair within 10 minutes is described. A Bond Elut ENV SPE cartridge was used for the hair sample extraction. The LC/MS analysis was performed using a1290 Infinity II LC coupled to a 6546 Q-TOF. Separations were carried out using an InfinityLab Poroshell 120 EC‑C18 column, 2.1 × 100 mm, 1.9 μm (p/n 695675-902). An InfinityLab PFC Delay column (p/n 5062‑8100) was placed after the pump exit to delay any perfluorinated interferents originating from the fluidic system. Four types of PFAS were present in the 11 hair samples tested, with at least one PFAS determined in each sample. PFOS was detected in seven samples. PFOA was detected in four samples.
A reliable LC/MS/MS method for the quantitative analysis of 18 sulfonamide (SAs) drugs and metabolites in water was developed and validated. Using InfinityLab Poroshell 120 EC-C18 Column (100 × 2.1 mm, 2.7 µm), Bond Elut HLB SPE cartridges, Captiva premium nylon syringe filters, and Vac Elut SPS 24 Manifold, this method demonstrated precision and accuracy for the requirements of sulfonamide drug analysis in water.
