- Six models available including the liquid LSI 85cm, the liquid/headspace/SPME RSI 85cm, 120cm, and 160cm versions, and the liquid/headspace/SPME Robotic Tool Change (RTC) in 120cm and 160cm lengths
- Robotic Tool Change (RTC) option allows up to four unique tool exchanges to automatically switch between liquid, headspace, and SPME fibers or SPME Arrow
- Saves valuable bench space by mounting on top of Agilent 8890, 8850, 8860, Intuvo 9000, 7890, and 7820 GCs or single and triple quadrupole GC/MS systems
- Integrated software control with OpenLab CDS, MassHunter, ChemStation, and EZChrom software
- The Series 2 RSI and RTC technology utilizes smart chips in the consumables that provide detailed information to the PAL3 sampling head and reports to the Agilent software for helpful reporting and full traceability
- Heated syringe headspace with static or dynamic sampling for sample concentration
- Solid phase microextraction using traditional SPME fibers and SPME Arrows for robustness and thicker phase with increased surface area for quicker loading and lower limits of detection
- Capacity up to 1,458 2-mL and 405 10/20-mL ambient vials on the 160cm sampler
- 85cm PAL3 Series 2 also available with capacity for 640 2-mL and 240 10/20-mL ambient vials, while 120cm versions can hold up to 972 2-mL and 360 10/20-mL vials
- Accommodates deep-well and standard microplates
- In addition to very high sample vial capacity, the PAL3 enables automated sample preparation with dilution, solvent addition, agitation, centrifugation, wash steps, and temperature-controlled sample handling with barcoding for sample chain of custody integrity
