- Eclipse XDB-CN equilibrates more rapidly than ZORBAX Rx-Sil and is used for many of the same normal-phase applications

Eclipse XDB columns are available in C18, C8, Phenyl and CN bonded phases for selectivity optimization of most separations with StableBond, Bonus-RP and Extend-C18 available as additional selectivity choices. Eclipse XDB columns are available in particle sizes ranging from 1.8 µm to 7 µm RRHT to Prep. Rapid Resolution HT (RRHT) columns provide the fastest analysis times and the highest resolution in a new wider range of column dimensions supporting high-pressure use.

*Eclipse XDB columns are designed for operation over a wide pH range. At pH 6–9, highest columns stability for all silica based columns is achieved by operating at temperatures < 40 °C and using low buffer concentrations in the range of 0.01–0.02 M.
