ETC 60 Electrothermal Temperature Controller
The Agilent ETC 60 Electrothermal Temperature Controller is an electrically heated quartz cell used for hydride analysis. Since it heats the quartz cell without a flame, the ETC 60, when used with the SPS 4 autosampler and the VGA 77, allows safe, unattended analysis of up to 270 samples with Agilent atomic absorption instruments.
By combining the ETC 60 with the VGA 77, Agilent Zeeman instruments can determine the hydride elements using the vapor-generation technique. The lower atomization temperatures used with the ETC 60 also increase sensitivity by up to 30% compared to flame atomization.
