Multi-Element Hollow Cathode Lamps
Agilent multi element hollow cathode lamps have cathode compositions that feature up to 6 elements in combination. This means the same cathode lamp can be used to determine multiple elements during analysis, minimizing lamp changes and extending the elemental coverage. Multi element cathode lamps provide similar performance to single element lamps, using different operating conditions.
Our multi-element AAS lamps are available with element coding or without. Uncoded multi-element AA lamps provide the most economical operation with broader elemental coverage, and are compatible with all Agilent and most other AAS systems. Coded multi-element AA lamps have a unique code built-in which enables the Agilent AAS system to automatically identify the lamp. This simplifies operation and reduces operator errors when using multiple lamps in the same instrument.
