KF (NW) Centering Rings
KF (NW) centering rings are used to fasten together KF flanges. Agilent centering rings are available in either 304 stainless steel or 6061 T6 aluminum.
FKM is commonly used and has a maximum rated temperature of 200°C. Buna-N is less permeable to helium and is preferred for use in helium leak detectors and has a maximum temperature of 100°C. Centering rings have a replaceable o-ring.
