The hrGFP antibody detects proteins expressed with the Vitality hrGFP II Mammalian Expression Vectors. Vitality hrGFP II, the next generation of our original hrGFP, fluoresces brighter in mammalian cells and is less toxic than EGFP, making it easier to use for mammalian expression experiments. Since hrGFP is derived from a different organism than EGFP, the hrGFP antibody does not cross react with the Aequorea victoria GFP variant-derived EGFP.
