The FLAG peptide (DYKDDDDK) is widely used as an epitope tag for protein expression analysis, purification, and detection. The original Anti-FLAG M2 Antibody was optimized for the detection of FLAG-fusion proteins in mammalian, plant, and bacterial expression systems.
Agilent now offers the rat anti-DYKDDDDK tag antibody as an alternative to replace the discontinued Anti-FLAG M2 antibody. The Agilent antibody provides equivalent specificity and sensitivity to similar antibodies.
