Specificity	Monoclonal anti-D2-40 was tested by Western blotting of cell lysates from a variety of tumor cell lines. D2-40 identified a 40 kDa band in immunoblots of HEY ovarian epithelial carcinoma cells and a slightly higher molecular weight form in blots of MGH-U3 cells. D2-40 immunoreactivity has also been observed in Western blots of SK-OV-3 and Caov-3 ovarian epithelial carcinoma cells, PA-1PA-1 ovarian teratocarcinoma cells, Tera-1 and Tera-2 testicular teratocarcinoma cells, 833 embryonal carcinoma cells, RT-4 bladder transitional carcinoma cells and U-2 OS osteosarcoma cells. No reactivity was observed in Western blots of other tumor cell lines derived from a variety of cancers (1). See package insert for reference(s).
