Specificity	The antibody reacts with human non-sulphated and sulphated forms of gastrin-17 as well as gastrin-34, and cross-reacts about 20% with cholecystokinin octapeptide (CCK-8). Traces of contaminating antibodies have been removed by solid-phase absorption with bovine plasma proteins. The specificity of the antibody has been ascertained as follows: Crossed immunoelectrophoresis: No precipitation arch appears when using 12.5 µL concentrated antibody per cm² gel area against 2 µL of human plasma or 2 µL bovine serum. Staining: Coomassie Brilliant Blue.
