GS-Alumina Columns
GS-Alumina is the most polar alumina phase column, consisting of aluminum oxide with proprietary deactivation. This alumina GC column is excellent for light hydrocarbon analysis (C1 to C8 hydrocarbon isomers), including C1 to C4 saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons and cyclopropane from propylene analysis.
Alumina columns tend to adsorb water and CO2 which, over time, results in changes in retention time. The GS-Alumina column benefits from an advanced, proprietary deactivation process that allows for complete regeneration of a fully moisture saturated column within 7 hours or less at 200 °C.
