8890 GC System with 7693A Automatic Liquid Sampler
The 7693A automatic liquid sampler can meet most application needs with variable injection speeds and volumes that can be set by the operator. A fast 100-msec injection eliminates a major source of sample discrimination and accommodates external standards to simplify quantitation. Slower speeds can be used for large-volume injection or cool on-column injection. Volumes as small as 10 nL or as large as 250 µL can be injected accurately and reproducibly.
Sample overlap increases throughput by allowing the autosampler to begin processing the next sample while the current sample is running. Users can choose to start overlap as soon as the previous injection has started or set it to start at a certain amount of time before or after the end of the GC run.
A second injection tower, optional heater/mixer/barcode reader, and easy-to-use software let you optimize for performance, cost-efficiency, or unique analytical requirements. For example, you can automatically heat the sample vial, add a second solvent, mix, and inject into the system. You can also add derivatization agents or sample the headspace above the liquid in a heated vial.
