Seahorse XF Glycolytic Rate Assay Kit
The Glycolytic Rate Assay kit contains the materials sufficient for six full-plate assays and is available in two packaging sizes. The XF kit is for use with Agilent Seahorse XF/XFe96 and XFe24 Analyzers and the XFp kit is for use with Agilent Seahorse XFp Analyzers. This assay is not compatible with Agilent Seahorse XF24 and XF24-3 Analyzers. It is only compatible with standard XFe96, XF96 and XFe24 cell culture plates (V3 and V7 PS) as well as XFp miniplates.

Product Details
- Provides a precise measure of glycolytic rate by calculating and subtracting mitochondrial-produced acidification.
- Detects metabolic switches (such as the Warburg effect) by reporting the relative activity of glycolysis and mitochondrial respiration.
- Measures the effects of metabolic modulators on glycolytic rates within a single assay well.
- This assay is validated and best performed with Agilent Seahorse XF DMEM medium, pH 7.4 (Cat. No. 103575-100) or Agilent Seahorse XF RPMI medium, pH 7.4 (Cat. No. 103576-100).
- The kit contains a Rotenone/Antimycin A mix to block mitochondrial activity (for calculation of mitochondrial acidification) and 2-DG (to inhibit glycolysis) as an internal control.
- Single-use vials assure quality and quantity every time and are now easier to open.
- Upload your assay result file to your Agilent Seahorse Analytics account to calculate and report parameters of the XF Glycolytic Rate assay, share with collaborators, or export data to Microsoft Excel or GraphPad Prism for other graphing or analysis needs
- Not compatible with Agilent Seahorse XF24 and XF24-3 Analyzers
