Bio IEX Ion Exchange Chromatography Columns
Ion Exchange (IEX) chromatography columns are packed with nonporous polymeric particles. Bio IEX-HPLC columns are designed for high resolution, high recovery, and efficient separations of biological compounds, such as oligonucleotides, proteins, and peptides.
Bio IEX columns are versatile for all types of biomolecules and are available in strong cation-exchange (SCX), weak cation-exchange (WCX), strong anion-exchange (SAX), and weak anion-exchange (WAX) phases. Speed and efficiency can be optimized for your needs with a variety of particle sizes. All phases are available in 1.7, 3, 5 and 10 μm non-porous particles sizes. PEEK hardware is available for the 2.1 and 4.6 mm ID columns with the two larger particle sizes for compounds that are sensitive to metal. In addition, PEEK hardware can mitigate corrosion that can occur with high salt. (It is recommended to use PEEK fittings (p/n 5042-8957) with PEEK hardware.)
