Spin Concentrators
Spin Concentrators are constructed of polycarbonate and feature polyethersulfone (PES) membranes that are compatible with biological fluids and most aqueous solutions. Designed to fit a standard 15 mL conical collection tube or a 50 mL collection tube, they are available with 5 kDA, 30 kDa, or 50 kDa pore sizes, in sample volume capacities of 4 mL or 15 mL.
Spin Concentrators are used to concentrate protein samples via low-speed centrifugation in either swing-bucket or fixed-angle rotor centrifuge equipment. They are designed to minimize membrane fouling and allow fast concentration, even with particles in the solution.
