Product Details

The Femto Pulse definitely filled an existing gap in quality control (QC) for RNA and DNA. Especially from chromatin immune precipitated (ChIP) samples it was very difficult to draw some conclusions in QC with previous QC methods because of the very low amounts (low picogram range) usually provided by the user/customers. The pulse field function of the Femto Pulse makes it a very useful tool to judge on the quality of input samples and libraries for Nanopore and PacBio sequencing.

I couldn’t imagine how our daily lives in the lab would be without the Femto Pulse instruments, or how we would be advancing in our different projects. It came in at the perfect time. It takes five to 15 minutes to prepare the instrument and then the rest is really flexible, so we can run a lot of samples. Also, the ProSize is quite an amazing software.
