Description: The Scientist Solution sales method was commercialized in 2003 as a result of the Founder's own experience seeing triple digit annual growth. Being on site in or near the labs is the single most efficient way of reaching your customer. Cold calling is inefficient and expensive. In one 90 minute to 2 hour event expect better results than a week or two of cold calling. National conferences are excellent for brand visibility but few scientists remember the conversations they had at any of the booths no matter how great the product. With the Scientist Solutions method, it is not unusual to see orders from our events even before you do your follow-up!

Description: Today’s demanding GC and GC/MS applications have pushed the boundaries of GC column phase technology. Features such as improved inertness, robustness and low-bleed chemistries are now necessary to meet the needs for lower detection limits and faster analysis time that GC analysts require. While recent improvements in traditional phenylmethyl polysiloxane phases have occurred, very little had been done with another important group of GC columns, polyethylene glycol columns, also known as WAX columns. Since the introduction of DB-WAX Ultra Inert a few years ago, Agilent have also recently introduced new WAX columns, DB-FATWAX UI and DB-HeavyWAX, that are designed to meet the demands of today’s labs. In this webinar, we will discuss the advances in WAX column technology, the benefits of each of these columns, and what applications they may be able to help.

Event Name:What’s Really Happening in Your Column: How Secondary Interactions Happen and What We Can Do About Them – LC Webinar
Location: Online
Date: 20 January 2026
Url: Register here
Description: Secondary interactions in HPLC are unintended interactions between the sample and any component of the flow path. They can lead to poor peak shape, poor resolution, and low sample recovery – and make it hard to interpret your chromatogram! An ideal separation is based purely on the primary separation mechanism, whether that is hydrophobicity in reversed-phase or size in size-exclusion chromatography. In reality, secondary interactions can happen in any kind of separation. In this webinar, we will discuss how they happen and how we can mitigate them, with tools such as mobile phase modifiers or inert LC column technology.
