Nut & Bolt Sets for ConFlat Flanges

Bolt sets are available for both clear and tapped hole ConFlat flanges, with hex or 12 point head bolts. 12 point bolts are selected to prevent “rounding” and to more efficiently transfer torque to the bolt head. Silver plated bolts should be used when frequent bakeouts occur, as they reduce the risk of galling.

To make installation of a ConFlat gasket easier, use the gasket clips to help hold the gasket steady and the plate nuts as a “backing wrench” when assembling the flanges if using only one wrench.
