Anti-human CD19 antibodies. These single-color reagents are of value to the study of B cell lineages.
CD19 is the broadest lineage-specific surface marker for B cells. CD19 is present on the surface of virtually all B lymphocytes, including early B progenitor cells, but it is lost upon terminal differentiation to plasma cells. CD19 is also expressed on follicular dendritic cells.
