Agilent’s Human Reference RNA is suitable for any application that requires consistent, high quality RNA in research settings. The total RNA is extracted from cell lines representing different human tissues. This is pooled from ten humans and then treated to ensure that genomic DNA is undetectable.
Effective RNA references may be used in the optimization of primer/probe sets, or to compare QPCR efficiencies across different laboratories, platforms or experiments. The Human Reference RNA features maximum representation of low, medium, and high abundant gene transcripts. It is also available at industrial scale for high throughput analysis.
