UV-Vis-NIR Variable Angle Specular Reflectance Accessory
The variable angle specular reflectance accessory (VASRA) measures reflectance at angles between 20˚ and 70˚ degrees. The VASRA features a sample translation mechanism that ensures the same part of the sample is illuminated at different angles enabling measurements at different angles to be more effectively compared.
The VASRA requires an extended sample compartment accessory for use with the Cary 4000, 5000, 6000i, and 7000 spectrophotometers.
