Intended for use in immunohistochemistry, immunoblotting, and ELISA. The cross-reaction with human immunoglobulins and fetal calf serum is negligible.
The antibody used for horseradish peroxidase conjugation reacts with all mouse IgG subclasses, mouse IgA and mouse IgM.
The antibody has been solid-phase absorbed with human and cow serum. The specificity has been ascertained by ELISA: Human immunoglobulins, less than 1%. Cow immunoglobulins, less than 1.5%. Cross-reactions with other immunoglobulins are typically: Goat, less than 2%; guinea pig and rat, about 15%; swine, about 5%. The cross-reaction with human serum and fetal calf serum is typically below 0.2%.
