Agilent UltiMetal thermal desorption tubes (TD tubes) are used for the collection and concentration of volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in air. Sorbent tubes serve as both a sampling device and a part of the sample introduction flow path, influencing background levels, recovery, and reproducibility in thermal desorption GC and GC/MS workflows.
