CD8

Anti-human CD8 antibodies. These single-color reagents are of value to the study of suppressor/cytotoxic T cells.

CD8 is a 68 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-restricted, mature suppressor/cytotoxic T cells, the great majority of cortical thymocytes and approximately 30% of medullary thymocytes. In addition, a proportion of γδ T cells and natural killer cells express CD8.
