Anti-human CD71 antibodies. These single-color reagents are of value to the study of proliferating cells.

CD71 is the receptor for transferrin. CD71 is involved in iron (Fe3+) uptake, and expression is regulated by the metabolic demand for iron, which is essential for the growing cell. CD71 is more abundantly expressed in rapidly dividing cells than quiescent cells.
