CD23
CD23 is primarily expressed on B cells and monocytes including a strong expression on EBV-transformed B lymphoblasts. On B cells, CD23 is selectively expressed on sIgM/sIgD double-bearing cells, and is lost upon differentiation into Ig-secreting cells. CD23 is also present on a large variety of other cells such as T cells, eosinophils, platelets, Langerhans cells and a subset of thymic epithelial cells. However, CD23 is absent in a large number of normal non-lymphoid human tissues.
