CD14

Anti-human CD14 antibodies. These single-color reagents are of value to the study of monocytes and macrophages.

CD14 is composed of 356 amino acids and is anchored to the cell membrane by linkage to glycosylphosphatidylinositol. In addition to the 53-55 kDa cell surface form, two soluble forms have been described.CD14 is expressed strongly on the surface of monocytes and weakly on the surface of granulocytes. Mosttissue macrophages and Langerhans cells also express CD14 (1-3)
