B Cell

This antibody targets the 105 kDa FMC7 antigen, which is present on a subpopulation of functionally mature B cells. It is present in similar quantities in normal (resting) B cells and in rapidly dividing cell lines. Studies have shown that FMC7 antigen may be a conformational epitope of CD20. Anti-B Cell, FMC7, reacts with a subset of B cells that also expresses surface membrane immunoglobulin (SmIg). The antibody does not stain B cells without SmIg, T cells and monocytes.
