Polychlorinated Biphenyls

Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are man-made organic chemicals that were used in many industrial and commercial applications due to their non-flammability, chemical stability, high boiling point, and electrical insulating properties. PCBs do not readily break down once they enter our environment and can cycle between air, water, and soil. Agilent provides the analytical standards needed to help ensure environmental safety.
