Product Details
- Compared to traditional methods, the analysis system delivers higher level of detection sensitivity and predictability.
- System supports simultaneous cell detection and analysis experiments by up to three users
- E-Plates may be deployed at the same time to detect adherent cells by testing for cytotoxicity of various compounds, cell-cell co-culture, cell growth and proliferation, cell adhesion and extension, and receptor-mediated signaling pathways.
- During experiments, the real-time cell analyzer is designed for placement in a CO2 incubator.
- Under the control of the analysis software, three E-plates (16 wells) can be independently tested in parallel for impedance
- System results are sent to the real-time cell analysis system workbench for processing, display, and analysis

Cellular Impedance Explained
The functional unit of a cellular impedance assay is a set of gold microelectrodes fused to the bottom surface of a microtiter plate well. When submersed in an electrically conductive solution (such as buffer or standard tissue culture medium), the application of an electric potential across these electrodes causes electrons to exit the negative terminal, pass through bulk solution, and then deposit onto the positive terminal to complete the circuit.
