xCELLigence Real-Time Cell Analysis uses impedance-based biosensors to obtain non-invasive, label-free measurements, continuously monitoring cell health, behavior, and function with high accuracy, sensitivity, and reproducibility. Integrating the BioSpa 8 Automated Incubator with the xCELLigence RTCA HT model enables live cell analysis of up to eight 384-well E-plates (a total of 3,072 wells) to meet high throughput sample screening needs.

- The xCELLigence RTCA HT instrument with BioTek BioSpa 8 automated incubator enables live cell analysis up to eight 384-well E-plates (a total of 3,072 wells) with non-invasive and label-free real-time impedance technology.
- Kinetic measurement of cell health, viability, or response to treatments with high sensitivity, accuracy, and reproducibility, provides a continuous flow of real-time data. The information gained from real-time live cell analysis goes far beyond end-point measurements.
- Automated workflow allows users to simply add cells to E-Plates 384 and begin kinetic measurements at physiological conditions. The BioSpa8 Robotic Arm transfers E-Plate 384 from the incubator to the xCELLigence RTCA HT Station. Multiple E-Plates 384 are processed while unattended, saving time in the lab.
- Critical physiological conditions are controlled and maintained in the BioSpa8 incubator to ensure assay success. Temperature and CO2/O2 control, plus humidity monitoring in the BioSpa facilitate live cell processes, and the cradle of the RTCA HT unit is temperature-controlled, for minimal disruption of the cells. The software continuously records environmental conditions.
