The Genomic DNA 165 kb kit is used in the assessment of high molecular weight (HMW) genomic DNA quality control required for long-read NGS libraries. This kit is designed to run with an optimized pulsed-field separation method enabling accurate sizing of HMW gDNA through 165 kb.
Long-read NGS library preparations require several gDNA quality control steps. Compared to standard 16-hour PFGE protocols, the Genomic DNA 165 kb kit produces results in as little as 1.5 hours. Replacing traditional PFGE with the Genomic DNA 165 kb kit eliminates days from the tedious library workflow.
