Advanced Valve System (AVS) 4

The Agilent Advanced Valve System for MP-AES (AVS 4) is an optional four-port switching valve accessory for Agilent MP-AES and ICP-OES instruments. It is designed to increase sample throughput and reduce matrix loads on the sample introduction system.

Rinses the sample introduction system during the uptake of the next sample, reducing the overall rinse time and shortening the analysis time to increase sample throughput
Diverts the sample away from the spray chamber, both before and immediately after measurement, to improve washout efficiency and substantially reduce carry-over
Compatible with Agilent ICP-OES and MP-AES instruments and the Agilent SPS 4 Autosampler
