Consumables for Repair

This list shows some of the typical consumable parts that are needed to maintain and operate your instrument. Certain supplies and Consumable Parts Required for Repair or the diagnosing of an instrument, or that fail because of material defects or workmanship, will be provided with service when included in a Service plan. The quantity of such Consumable Parts included at the time of delivering Service is limited to the amount necessary to return the instrument to operation. Please note, except as provided in for the lamp replacement benefit contained in Agilent CrossLab Silver Plus, consumablesrequired for the routine maintenance and operation of the instrument are not included as part of any Service plan.

Agilent recommends stocking some quantity of the listed parts to facilitate maintenance and operation routines. In the event of equipment breakdown, parts will be provided at no additional charge if theyare required to execute a repair under a covered support plan. If it is determined a breakdown is a direct result of failure to maintain the equipment or operate the equipment within factory settings,consumables will be charged. Agilent will provide consumable parts required for repair of breakdown due to a failure in materials and or workmanship. For example, if a lamp fails because of a malfunctioning power supply the lamp would be replaced at no charge under a covered support plan.

Customer responsibilities under a service plan include routine operational maintenance including replacement of consumable parts as identified in the applicable instrument documentation. Listed consumables with no models are generally applicable to the entire class of instruments, although some listed consumables may not be applicable to certain instruments due to their specific design. Some consumables may be unique to a specific model number and/or may only be replaced by trained service professionals. Please consult your documentation for specific material numbers and procedures.

**Replaced under standard CrossLab Silver and Gold agreements only if the lamp is damaged by a failure elsewhere in the instrument (e.g. power supply failure).  
Not covered under standard CrossLab Silver and Gold agreements:  
1) Annual lamp replacement;
2) Replacement of lamps that burn out from normal instrument use.
The CrossLab Silver Plus agreement and the Enhanced PM Uplift entitle the customer to 1 annual replacement of an LC Deuterium lamp.
