Meet data integrity standards—provides the technical controls to acquire, process, report and store data securely in laboratories that must follow the compliance guidelines of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP5, as well as ISO/IEC 17025 and EPA’s 40 CFR Part 160.
Perform advanced and customizable calculations using sample metadata. These calculations can be saved within a method and are automatically applied at the end of the sample sequence collection.
Store and manage Agilent Cary 3500 UV-Vis data in a local secured storage on the workstation PC or in a central storage.
The OpenLab software suite includes optional secure database storage for electronic records, complete administration for users and access privileges, software licensing, and security settings—e-signature workflow and enhanced audit trail review capabilities.

Access on-demand help and training through the built-in Help and Learning Center, reducing training time with easy-to-follow videos and resources for all users.

Cary UV Workstation—speed, data quality, and reliability

The Cary UV Workstation software comes with built-in applications such as time-based kinetics, concentration, wavelength scanning, and temperature-based measurements. The intuitive software interface ensures methods are quick and easy to set up. Analyze your data with one of more than 50 built-in calculations or create your own. The built-in Help and Learning Center reduces training time and effort by providing easy-to-follow videos and information for all users.

Software to help meet global regulatory requirements

The Cary 3500 UV-Vis spectrophotometer is compatible with the Agilent OpenLab software suite of products. OpenLab provides technical controls to securely acquire and store data in laboratories that must comply with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP5, ISO/IEC 17025, and the EPA’s 40 CFR Part 160 (and similar regulations in other countries). These controls include access control and secure data, electronic signature workflows, and advanced audit trail review.

OpenLab software ensures your data is securely stored. Agilent offers two configurations for the Cary UV Workstation:

Agilent Releases Cary UV Workstation 1.5—A Powerful and Flexible Analytical Platform for UV-Vis

The latest Cary UV Workstation software revision comes with new features and enhancements, including compatibility with the new OpenLab 2.8—helping organizations deploy Cary 3500 UV-Vis instruments in distributed environments. Also included are potassium dichromate tests for absorbance and linearity validation. This software version supports Windows 11 21H2, and ECM 3.6.5. The Cary 3500 UV-Vis spectrophotometer series with the Cary UV Workstation software will help meet the requirements of the United States Pharmacopeia USP <857>, European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur. Chapter 2.2.25), and the Japanese Pharmacopeia (JP XVIII) for regulatory peace of mind.
