| For the update of Agilent 1100/1200/1200 Infinity (1260/1290) LC modules (as well as for the 8543 Uv-vis Spectrograph and 3100 OFFGEL fractionator) there are two update utilities available that allow the update of the modules using a PC (instead of using the Control Module G1323A/B or the Instant Pilot G4208A) or the Agilent Lab Advisor.
Recommended tool is the Agilent Lab Advisor for updates via LAN/RS-232 or LAN/USB (Infinity II/III - modules with D-FW only).

The LAN-RS232 2.x FW Update tool (FWUpdate Setup 2.10 [001].exe) has been discontinued and is no longer available for download as of 30 Apr 2025. Please use LabAdvisor to perform FW updates.
The FW Update Guide Infinity (09/2010) (help of the LAN/RS-232 FW-Update Tool includes information on 1100/1200/1200 Infinity (1260/1290) LC modules and the Agilent Lab Advisor firmware update.

For the Agilent LAN Interface Card G1369A the latest firmware, update program and documentation is available.
Use always the latest version of the firmware update utilities to assure compatibilty with the all modules.
Access or upgrade to the most current version of LabAdvisor is available within the LabAdvisor application (Internet access is required). From the context "Configuration" go to Add-ons" and click on "Check online for updates". If a newer version is found you can install it through the "update" button.
