Screw cap, blue, PTFE/red silicone septa, 5,000/pk. These 9 mm blue screw caps come in packs of 5,000 and include a press-fit septum made from white PTFE/red silicone septum bi-layer. This combination is suited for a broad range of applications. It is one of the main choices for HPLC applications where the sample is less volatile. This particular version is the most widely used design for 2 mL vials. Each is compatible with all wide-opening 2 mL glass and polypropylene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery vials. These screw caps are press-fit (non-bonded), which is a sustainable cap option as the various components can be separated for easier disposal and recycling.
