2 mL Screw Top Vials & Caps

Cap, 8-425 screw, black, red PTFE/silicone septa, 100/pk. These 8 mm black screw caps come in 100/pks and include a press-fit septum made from red PTFE/white silicone septum bi-layer. This combination is suited for a broad range of applications, however, is one of the main choices for HPLC applications where the sample is less volatile and/or were snap or crimp style vials are not appropriate. This particular version is a less-widely used design for 2 mL vials. It is compatible wth all short or standard-opening 2 mL glass and polyproplene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery Vials. While it is the most common option for short or standard-opening 2 mL vials a close second are snap top style vials, however, they are less common again. These screw caps being press-fit (non-bonded) are the most sustainable cap option as the various components can be separated for easier disposal and recycling.
