Obsolete. No replacement recommendation. β(1,4)-Galactosyltransferase, recombinant (formerly ProZyme). For in vitro galactosylation of glycoproteins such as monoclonal antibodies.
Recombinant β(1,4)-Galactosyltransferase (B4GalT1, EC 2.4.1.38) transfers galactose from a donor substrate, UDP-galactose, to GlcNAcβ1-2Man units on glycoproteins and complex molecules. Kit includes sufficient reagents for three reactions of up to 500 μg protein each.

Kit contents includes: enzyme sufficient for 3 reactions, 3 vials of UDP-galactose, and 1 vial of 5x reaction buffer.
