2 ml Crimp/Snap Top Vials & Caps

Caps/septa, snap, 11 mm, clear, PTFE/red silicone, 1,000/cs. These 11 mm clear snap caps come in 1000/pks and include a press-fit septum made from white PTFE/red silicone septum bi-layer. This combination is suited for a broad range of applications, however, is the main choices for HPLC applications where the sample is less volatile and/or were screw or crimp style vials are not appropriate. This particular version is used where additional sample prep steps involving pipetting is required in that the user can more easily remove and close the cap while holding the pipetter. It is compatible wth all wide-opening 2 mL glass and polyproplene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery Vials. These snap caps being press-fit (non-bonded) are the most sustainable cap option as the various components can be separated for easier disposal and recycling.
