2 ml Screw Top Vials & Caps

Red screw cap, bonded preslit blue PTFE/silicone septa, 100/pk. These 9 mm red screw caps come in 100/pks and include a bonded septum made from a pre-slit PTFE/white silicone bi-layer. This combination is suited for a broad range of applications, however, is one of the main choices for HPLC applications where the sample is less volatile and/or were snap or crimp style vials are not appropriate. This particular version is the most-widely used design for 2 mL vials. It is compatible wth all wide-opening 2 mL glass and polyproplene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery vials. While it is the most common option for 2 mL vials a close second are snap top style vials, however, they are less common. These screw caps being bonded offer a better seal than press-fit caps due to the electostatic bonding procedure used to adhere the cap to the septum when you need the best possible seal for your precious sample.
