2 ml Screw Top Vials & Caps

Cap, screw, green, PTFE/silicone/PTFE septa, 500/pk. These 9 mm green screw caps come in 1,000/pks and include a press-fit septum made from red PTFE/white silicone/ red PTFE septum tri-layer. This combination is suited for a range of applications where sample containment is a priority whether is be for long term storage and/or improved resealability and/or solvents are being used which when septu,m is broached can lead to silicone breakdown. This particular version is the most-widely used design for 2 mL vials. It is compatible wth all wide-opening 2 mL glass and polyproplene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery Vials. While it is the most common option for 2 mL vials a close second are snap top style vials, however, they are less common. These screw caps being press-fit (non-bonded) are the most sustainable cap option as the various components can be separated for easier disposal and recycling.
