Cap, screw, blue, bonded preslit PTFE/silicone septa, 12 mm, 100/pk. These 9 mm blue screw caps come in 100/pks and include a bonded septum made from a preslit PTFE/silicone septum bi-layer. This combination is suited for a broad range of applications, however, is one of the main choices for HPLC applications where the sample is less volatile and/or were snap or crimp style vials are not appropriate. This particular version is the most-widely used design for 2 mL vials. It is compatible with all wide-opening 2 mL glass and polypropylene vials, 2 mL micro vials and 2 mL High Recovery vials. Bonded screw caps offer a more secure seal than press-fit caps due to the electrostatic bonding procedure used to adhere the cap to the septum.
