Automated Sipper System for the Cary 8454 and 8453. The sipper system comprises a single-channel peristaltic pump, quartz flow cell, PTFE tubing and remote cables. In operation, the sipper system quickly aspirates a liquid sample into a flow cell where it is measured and then returned, or pumped to waste. Total automation of sample handling can be achieved by adding an autosampler (G1811A).
