The sample transport accessory is a movable platform that positions samples in the sample compartment. Intended for the Cary 4000, 5000, 6000i, and 7000 instruments, the accessory is used to make photometric measurements at different positions along a sample, or for wavelength and time scans at selected sample positions.|The Cary WinUV software allows measurements at nominated positions along the sample transport, but not measurements as a function of distance.
Direct measurements in 16 mm diameter test tubes with the Cary 60 test tube holder.
The Cary 60 test tube holder secures 16 mm diameter test tubes in the sample compartment of the Cary 60, so solutions can be measured directly in the test tube. This eliminates the need to transfer a solution to a cuvette, ideal for UV-Vis water analysis.|The Cary 60 makes UV-Vis test tube measurements possible with the xenon flashlamp and optical design allowing measurements with the sample compartment open. The highly focused beam ensures minimal signal loss through the curved glass of the test tube.
Specular reflectance measurements from 20 to 70 degrees.
The variable angle specular reflectance accessory (VASRA) measures reflectance at angles between 20˚ and 70˚ degrees. The VASRA features a sample translation mechanism that ensures the same part of the sample is illuminated at different angles enabling measurements at different angles to be more effectively compared.|The VASRA requires an extended sample compartment accessory for use with the Cary 4000, 5000, 6000i, and 7000 spectrophotometers.

Facilitates extraction of tubing and ribbon cables from sample compartment in a light-tight manner.
The thermostatted accessories kit includes a special baseplate to provide light-proof seals through which plumbing and ribbon cables can pass. This kit should be used with the Cary 4000, 5000, 6000i, and 7000 extended sample compartment and either the Peltier 1x1 single cell holder or the dual rectangular water thermostatted cell holder.
Measure multiple samples with temperature control with the thermostatted multicell holders.
Thermostatted multicell holders for Cary UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometers provide temperature control for multiple samples. The 6x6 multicell holder consists of two sets of six staggered cell holders, allowing up to six sample cells and six reference cells to be measured in double beam mode. The multicell holders can be used at ambient temperature, with water thermostatting, or be Peltier controlled.|The thermostatted multicell holders are automatically controlled by the UV-Vis spectrophotometer software and can be used together with the Cary temperature probe to monitor sample temperature.
The Agilent manual polarizer accessory gives the Agilent Cary Eclipse fluorescence spectrophotometer the capability of measuring fluorescence polarization, which provides information about a molecule’s orientation, conformation, and interaction with other molecules.|Use the manual polarizer accessory with the Agilent cryostat accessory and all single-cell and multicell cell holders. Cleaning and maintaining the polarizers is easy, and the accessory includes a wooden storage box.

An external specular reflectance accessory (SRA) allows specular reflectance measurements to be made at fixed angles of 30°, 45°, or 60° depending on the accessory. These accessories are useful for studies of film thickness on metallic substrates and measurements of epitaxial film thickness.|The baseline is set by placing a reference material on top of the accessory and collecting the baseline. The reference material is then replaced with the sample lying face-down on top of the accessory to complete the measurement. These accessories have been designed for Cary 60, 4000, 5000, 6000i and 7000 instruments.

Measure light emission from liquids and the surfaces of solid samples with the Agilent fiber optics accessory for the Agilent Cary Eclipse fluorescence spectrophotometer. The fiber optics accessory takes light from the spectrophotometer to the sample for measurements away from the spectrophotometer.|The photometric performance with fiber optics is assured due to the unique room light immunity of the Cary Eclipse spectrophotometer. Hands-free sample measurements are possible with the dip probe coupler.

The Cary temperature probe accessory accurately measures temperature with Cary UV-Vis, UV-Vis-NIR, and fluorescence spectrophotometers. It can be attached for remote monitoring outside of the sample compartment or used to monitor liquid sample temperatures inside cuvettes.

The Agilent Cary Eclipse automated polarizer accessory enables fluorescence polarization or anisotropy to be measured with the Cary Eclipse fluorescence spectrophotometer. These measurements provide information about a molecule's orientation, conformation, and interaction with other molecules.|The automated polarizer accessory is software controlled, and automatically moves between the vertical and horizontal polarization positions. The accessory includes the motorized mechanism and the vertical and horizontal polarizers.
Control temperature for a single sample and reference cuvette with the Peltier cell holder.
The Peltier cell holder controls sample temperature for a single sample and reference when performing UV-Vis measurements. The temperature of each cell holder can be independently regulated or used at a single temperature with the Cary UV-Vis and UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometers.|The Peltier cell holder is automatically controlled by the UV-Vis spectrophotometer software and can be used together with the Cary temperature probe to monitor sample temperature.
