The Agilent MassHunter Optimizer for GC/TQ
MassHunter Optimizer for GC/TQ is compatible with the 7000 and 7010 series triple quadrupole GC/MS (GC/TQ). The tool automates MRM method development and enables a smooth transition from single quadrupole GC/MSD methods to GC/TQ for significant time savings and increased productivity. Automated parameter optimization includes precursor and product ion identification and selection of various collision energies. Workflows like Start from Scan Data, SIM Ions, or MRMs enable a streamlined process that provides precise and reproducible results.
Automated and manual tuning with MassHunter acquisition software for GC/MS
Autotune is the best choice for applications that require the highest performance across the entire scan range. The instrument is calibrated for maximized sensitivity for three major ion fragments distributed within the scan range. Alternatively, manual tune can be used to increase sensitivity for a narrower mass range. Also, Agilent GC/MSDs allow for automated bromofluorobenzene (BFB) and decafluorotriphenylphosphine (DFTPP) target tuning to meet specific ion ratio criteria set by U.S. EPA methods for volatiles and semivolatiles analysis.
