Agilent Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Software Patches Download Area

The following software patches are available for download. Click on the patch you wish to download. At this point your browser will probably ask you what it should do with the file. Select "Save File" or similar option and download the patch to an empty subdirectory on your hard disk. For ZIP archives you will need PKUNZIP or similar utility to expand the ZIP file. Once the archive is expanded, follow the directions in the readme file.

Note: Only apply a patch to the particular revision of the Agilent software product for which it was intended. Applying patches to the incorrect revision of Agilent software may result in corruption of your application software and your data.

G1821B ICP-MS ChemStation Supplemental Disk (Rev.B.01.03)

845 KByte ZIP file to update from Supplemental Disk Rev. B.01.02 to Rev. B.01.03 of the G1821B ChemStation software (Rev.B.01.01). The following problems are fixed:

• The default data path for TOP Task
  There was a problem that when the latest data path opened on offline data analysis, it set as the initial data path for TOP task. Consequently, the path is displayed as the default data path in Start Sequence dialog box. The problem was fixed in this version.
• The output value of Count in reports
  CPS was output to Quantitative Reports, Custom Reports and QC Reports, instead of Counts. The problem occurred when Data Analysis did not quantitate some elements; for example, the measured masses are set as "Excluded" in the calibration table of the used method. The bug was fixed in this version.
• The sensitivity auto tuning
  It is fixed that auto tuning macro stops with the error "Expected a variable or function name", when sensitivity auto tuning was executed with the option, "Reduce Doubly Charged Ions", "Reduce Oxide Ions" or "Reduce Background".
• The calibration table
  It is fixed for mass numbers that sometimes displayed incorrectly in a calibration table, when they are deleted and added again.
