1260 Infinity HPLC-Chip/MS SystemThe Agilent 1260 Infinity Nanoflow LC system and any Agilent 6000 Series mass spectrometer are optimized for use with the HPLC-Chip/MS system. The system is fully integrated and controlled from the LC/MSD Trap or Agilent Mass Hunter Workstation.

HPLC-Chips for a wide range of application needs

Laser ablation of biocompatible polyimide film is used to create surface structures required for the HPLC-Chip layout. This flexible, scalable manufacturing process makes it possible to design and produce chips with a wide variety of features and functionalities. Component integration reduces the complexity and enhances the robustness, reliability and lifetime of the HPLC-Chip. Patent pending ion implantation technology used for HPLC-Chip II further enhance the robustness of the chip performance. HPLC-Chips are currently available or applications in the following areas:

  • Proteomics, including protein ID, biomarker discovery & validation, phosphopeptide analysis, glycan analysis, and intact protein analysis
  • Small molecule analysis, such as DMPK
  • Biopharmaceutical analysis
  • Nucleotide analysis

For applications where it is desirable to flow-inject or directly infuse the sample into the mass spectrometer at nanoflow rates, the re-useable infusion HPLC-Chip is also offered. Finally, for applications with special requirements, Agilent offers a custom HPLC-Chip program that allows you the flexibility of fine tuning the chromatographic separation by using an existing chip layout with the packing material of your choice. When developing new applications, Agilent can also work with you to design custom chips with new layouts, features and functionality.
